Tintinnabulation is a unique blend of the abstract, avant garde, and experimental "pop" music. Combining glockenspiel mutated with computer, adding cymbal, gong, autoharp, electronics, and more, it is a sound like no other.
Tintinnabulation WAS Michael Sperone's electro-acoustic solo project. It is now a full band with a variable instrumentation which can include: glockenspiel, gongs, computer, electronics, autoharp, guitar(s), mandolin, upright bass, toy piano, vibraphone, drumset, strings, saxophone(s), clarinet(s), and/or more. Tintinnabulation offers a new sound which combines radical atonal melodies and bass lines with a tonal harmonic structure and "pop" music influence. |
